Caitlin is a fitness instructor and exercise consultant in New York City.
Caitlin was born to move! She began dancing at the age of three, and hasn’t stopped moving since. Growing up as a dancer in Northern VA, she found a true interest in the fitness world; a world that helped condition and train her body out of the dance studio.
After receiving her BFA in Ballet at Marymount Manhattan College, Caitlin continued to explore her connection of the mind and body and trained to get her Pilates Certification through the Equinox Pilates Training Program in New York, NY. Shortly after receiving her Pilates certification, Caitlin discovered barre workouts. It was love at first sight. Caitlin received her Figure4 certification through Pure Yoga New York in 2012. Caitlin enjoys teaching barre because, like dance, it allows her to share her knowledge of the body with students who desire to move, stretch and strengthen their muscles.
As an avid runner, having completed the 2011 New York City ING Marathon, Caitlin was looking for a new way to cross train. She discovered the megaformer, and was instantly addicted to the combination of cardio training, weight-bearing activity and Pilates. Caitlin holds a certification in Lagree Fitness, an intensely challenging Pilates class that uses the innovative megaformer.
As a dancer, Caitlin, understands the importance of proper form, alignment, and control. In all of her fitness disciplines, Caitlin is committed to giving her clients a heart pounding, intense workout with a relentless focus on form and function. Her contagious energy and focus will inspire you to be the best version of yourself and will keep you coming back for more.
Caitlin is currently teaching at Pure Yoga New York & SLT (Strengthen-Lengthen-Tone). In addition Caitlin is CPR and Pre/Postnatal certified.
When she’s not in the gym or studio, Caitlin enjoys spending time with friends and family, cooking and running.
